    07/17/2026 –07/19/2026

    A weekend for food lovers kicks off Friday at 8 p.m. with a kids' popcorn bar and movie. Saturday begins with Kids Can Cook - Week 7 at 10 a.m., followed by a hula hoop competition at noon and a watermelon eating contest at 1 p.m. The afternoon continues with a scavenger hunt at 3 p.m., then the "White Dinner" competition at 5 p.m. Wrap up the evening with Family Feud in the Rec Hall at 7 p.m.

  • Christmas in July Weekend

    07/24/2026 –07/26/2026

    Get into the holiday spirit early during Christmas in July. Friday begins with campground site decorating, followed by an Elf on the Shelf scavenger hunt at 6 p.m. and a showing of The Polar Express at 8 p.m. Saturday features Kids Can Cook - Week 8 at 10 a.m., decorating the community Christmas tree at noon, writing letters to Santa at 1 p.m., and pictures with Santa at 2 p.m. A snowball fight begins at 3 p.m., followed by site decorating winners announced at 4 p.m. Bring cookies to exchange at 6 p.m., and enjoy a wagon ride through Christmas Wonderland at 8 p.m. Sunday activities include ornament making at 10 a.m. and snow cones at 1 p.m.

    07/31/2026 –08/02/2026

    Ring in the New Year with a full schedule of activities! Friday evening starts with New Year's Eve ball decorating at 7 p.m., followed by Scratch-Off Bingo at 8:30 p.m. Saturday begins with Kids Can Cook - Week 9 at 10 a.m., then create your own countdown clock at noon. Try the cotton ball challenge at 1 p.m., play the Jingle in the Trunk game at 3 p.m., and make a time capsule at 5 p.m. Kids can celebrate during the Kids' New Year's Eve party in the Rec Hall from 7-9 p.m., while adults enjoy an appetizer party from 9-11 p.m. in the cooking pavilion and lounge. Sunday morning features a polar bear kiddie pool plunge at 9 a.m., followed by a kids' nature walk at 11 a.m.

    08/07/2026 –08/09/2026

    Another weekend of water-filled fun is on the schedule. Friday night kicks things off with Ice Cream Bingo at 7 p.m., followed by Scratch-Off Bingo at 9 p.m. Saturday starts with Kids Can Cook - Week 10 at 10 a.m., and the fire truck arrives at noon. The water slide opens at 1 p.m., with music from the Mays Landing DJ also starting at 1 p.m. Wagon Water Wars begin at 4 p.m., and the evening wraps up with a pool party at 6 p.m. - bring a snack to share. Sunday morning features the Mays Landing Community Meeting at 10:30 a.m.

    08/14/2026 –08/16/2026

    Spend the weekend celebrating the Mays Landing camping community. Friday evening begins with a wooden race car craft at 6 p.m., followed by an adult dart competition at 8 p.m. Saturday starts with Kids Can Cook - Week 11 at 10 a.m., then test your knowledge during employee trivia at noon. A scavenger hunt begins at 2 p.m., followed by an adult cornhole competition at 3:30 p.m. The evening features a special camper event at 7 p.m. On Sunday, enjoy birthday cake at 10 a.m. for campers celebrating July through December birthdays.

  • Prom Weekend

    08/21/2026 –08/23/2026

    Prom weekend brings plenty of creative fun before the big event. Friday begins with making a duct tape corsage at 6 p.m., followed by decorating the Rec Hall at 8 p.m. Saturday starts with a Kids Can Cook graduation celebration at 10 a.m., then kickball at noon and a game of Pass the Prize at 2 p.m. Crafts begin at 4 p.m. in the Rec Hall, and the prom takes place from 7-10 p.m.

    Ease into the school season with a simple evening of fun. Join us Friday at 6 p.m. for Back-to-School Bingo, then stick around for an adult pool tournament at 9 p.m.

  • Labor Day Weekend

    Celebrate the holiday weekend with a full lineup of activities. Friday evening begins with Candy Bar Bingo at 7 p.m., followed by Adult Scratch-Off Bingo at 8 p.m. Saturday features a craft sale from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Bubble Mania at 10 a.m., applesauce making at noon, and a wagon ride at 3 p.m. The cornhole competition begins at 6 p.m. with a $10 entry fee. Sunday starts with fishing tournament registration at 8:30 a.m., with the tournament running from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Later in the day, enjoy hot dogs at the pool at 1 p.m. and a chocolate tug-of-war at 3 p.m. Monday morning wraps up the weekend with coffee and Danish in the Welcome Center at 9 a.m.

  • Tailgate Weekend

    09/11/2026 –09/13/2026

    Saturday is packed with tailgating fun and friendly competition. Kids' pool games begin at 10 a.m., followed by a multi-size ball game at the volleyball area at noon. Join the bean bag toss at 2 p.m., then test your aim during the toilet paper toss at 4 p.m. The tailgate party takes place at the cooking pavilion at 5 p.m., and the day wraps up with a field goal washer game at 7 p.m.

  • Chili Cook Off Weekend

    09/18/2026 –09/20/2026

    Join us for a weekend of games leading up to our chili cook-off. Friday night begins with Yahtzee in the Rec Hall at 6 p.m. Saturday features life-size Monopoly at 10 a.m., Jenga at noon, and Capture the Flag at 3 p.m. The Chili Cook-Off contest starts at 5 p.m., followed by music from the Mays Landing DJ at 6 p.m. On Sunday, the Mays Landing Community Meeting takes place at 10:30 a.m.

  • Friendsgiving Weekend

    09/25/2026 –09/27/2026

    Gather with friends and neighbors for a weekend of gratitude. Friday evening begins with Family Bingo at 7 p.m. On Saturday, create a Thanksgiving craft at 11 a.m., then join the community Thanksgiving meal at 5 p.m.

  • Halloween Weekend #1

    10/02/2026 –10/04/2026

    Get ready for a spooktacular Halloween Weekend! The fun begins Friday at 6 p.m. with a wagon ride to plant our pumpkin seeds and kick off the festivities. On Saturday, hop on the wagon at 12 p.m. for a ride to the Pumpkin Patch, then join us at 1:30 p.m. for pumpkin painting. Show off your creativity and costumes during our costume contest at 3 p.m., followed by trick-or-treating around the campground at 4 p.m. We'll wrap up the day with a Halloween party at 6 p.m. full of festive fun for everyone!

  • Halloween Weekend #2

    10/09/2026 –10/11/2026

    Help us wrap up the season while celebrating Halloween! Throughout the weekend, bring any non-expired, non-perishable food items to the Welcome Center for donation to the Community Church. Last year our campers donated 18 bags of food. Friday evening begins with a wagon ride at 6 p.m. to plant the pumpkin seeds. On Saturday, ride the wagon to the Pumpkin Patch at noon, then enjoy pumpkin painting at 1:30 p.m. Show off your best costume during the costume contest at 3 p.m., followed by trick-or-treating at 4 p.m. The festivities conclude with a Halloween party at 6 p.m.

  • Let's Clean Up Weekend

    Help us get the campground ready for the end of the season. Join the Mays Landing Community Meeting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, and bring any non-expired, non-perishable food items to the Welcome Center for donation to the Community Church. Last year our campers donated 18 bags of food.

  • Closing Weekend

    10/23/2026 –10/25/2026

    As the season comes to an end, help us prepare the campground for winter while supporting our community. Bring any non-expired, non-perishable food items to the Welcome Center for donation to the Community Church - last year we collected 18 bags of food. Closing time is 12 p.m. on October 25, 2026, with no exceptions. Campfires will not be permitted on October 25, and all campers should disconnect water, electric, and septic before departure. Thank you for a wonderful season, and we look forward to seeing you in the spring!

  • Early check-in and/or late check-out may be available for an additional fee per option. If interested in either option, contact the management office in advance of your arrival to inquire about availability.

Reservation & Payment Policy

  • Your credit card will be charged Itinerary Total prior to arrival, up to a maximum deposit of one night rack rate. Any remaining balance will be due on arrival.
  • Prices and site type are subject to availability.
  • The rates displayed do not include any applicable service fees or charges for optional incidentals. 
  • Additional guests are $10/night.
  • By using a credit card for a deposit, guarantee or payment, you agree to the following: if I used a credit card for a deposit, guarantee or payment, I authorize MHC Property Management L.P. to charge any expenses incurred during my stay to that credit card or apply funds I have on deposit with MHC Property Management L.P. against what I owe.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • In the case of multiple sites booked, cancellation penalties apply to each site that is cancelled or changed.
  • No refunds will be issued for early check-out.
  • RV campsites: For stays 1 to 27 days, we allow full refunds for cancellations up to 2 days prior to your arrival date.
  • Rental accommodations: For stays 1 to 27 days, we allow full refunds for cancellations 7 days prior to your arrival date. For guests booking a stay in a rental accommodation located in California of 30 or fewer consecutive days, a full refund will be given for reservations cancelled within 24 hours of booking provided the reservation’s arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.
  • Long-term or seasonal stays: For stays 28 days to 184 days at an RV campsite or in a rental accommodation, if you cancel or change your reservation up to and including 45 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, we will issue a refund for the amounts paid by you. If you cancel your reservation and provide less than the required 45 days’ notice, you will forfeit your deposit amount. For guests booking a long-term or seasonal reservation in a rental accommodation in California (31 days to 184 days), if you cancel or change your reservation up to and including 45 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, we will issue a refund for the amounts paid by you. If you cancel your reservation and provide less than the required notice, you forfeit your deposit amount.
  • Annual stays: Due to the strong demand for our extended-stay reservations (lasting 185 days or more) and the limited site availability at many of our campgrounds and resorts, we recommend securing an extended-stay site by placing a site holding deposit. This deposit can be made at your convenience and consists of a $150 site holding fee, which is fully refundable under the following terms and conditions. Should an Agreement for Use of RV Site for your extended stay not be fully executed within seven (7) business days (excluding weekends and federal holidays) following our receipt of your $150 site holding deposit, or within any additional time needed between the parties to finalize the Agreement, then the site holding deposit ($150) is fully refundable to your original form of payment. Once we issue your refund, it may take an additional 7-10 days for your financial institution to make funds available in your account. Please contact us at (855) 336-8892 if you have not signed an Agreement for Use of RV Site or received a refund within that time frame. Please note that the $150 site holding deposit secures a site at your selected campground or resort, but does not secure a specific site. A manager or other employee working at that campground or resort should reach out to you after you make the $150 site holding deposit to discuss site location and the execution of an Agreement for Use of RV Site. In order to sign an Agreement for Use of RV Site allowing an extended stay at a campground or resort, you must meet residency requirements for seasonal or annual stays. If you become an annual guest pursuant to an executed Agreement for Use of RV Site, the $150 site holding deposit will then be applied to either the administrative fee (if applicable), or will be credited towards the annual site payment. Advertised rates do not include taxes and fees. Electricity is not included for stays of 30 days or longer. Usage of any seasonal or annual site may be limited to dates that the campground or resort is open. While, if you become a seasonal or annual guest pursuant to an Agreement for Use of RV Site, you may leave your RV on the site year-round, there are restrictions that limit the amount of time you may occupy your RV on the site that vary by campground and resort. Open dates and length of stay vary by campground and resort. Must be a current Thousand Trails member or purchase a Camping Pass membership in connection with seasonal or annual stays at Thousand Trails campground. Amenities vary by campground and resort. Pet Policy

  • Up to 2 dogs are allowed at campsites. No aggressive breeds. Please clean up after pets, keep on leash at all times, and do not leave unattended on site. Sorry, no pets allowed in some rentals.
