Check-in/Check-out & Hours

• Campsite check-out: 12 noon
• Campsite check-in: 2 p.m.
• Early check-in and/or late check-out may be available for an additional fee per option. Call the Resort Office the morning of your arrival to inquire about the availability of an early check-in or the morning of your departure for a late check-out. On busy/holiday weekends there will be no early check-in or late check-out.

Cancellation 

• RV campsites: For stays 1 to 27 days, we allow full refunds for cancellations up to 2 days prior to your arrival date.
• Rental accommodations: For stays 1 to 27 days, we allow full refunds for cancellations 7 days prior to your arrival date. For guests booking a stay in a rental accommodation located in California of 30 or fewer consecutive days, a full refund will be given for reservations cancelled within 24 hours of booking provided the reservation’s arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.
• Long-term or seasonal stays: For stays 28 days to 184 days at an RV campsite or in a rental accommodation, if you cancel or change your reservation up to and including 45 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, we will issue a refund for the amounts paid by you. If you cancel your reservation and provide less than the required 45 days’ notice, you will forfeit your deposit amount. For guests booking a long-term or seasonal reservation in a rental accommodation in California (31 days to 184 days), if you cancel or change your reservation up to and including 45 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, we will issue a refund for the amounts paid by you. If you cancel your reservation and provide less than the required notice, you forfeit your deposit amount.
• Annual stays: Due to the strong demand for our extended-stay reservations (lasting 185 days or more) and the limited site availability at many of our campgrounds and resorts, we recommend securing an extended-stay site by placing a site holding deposit. This deposit can be made at your convenience and consists of a $150 site holding fee, which is fully refundable under the following terms and conditions. Should an Agreement for Use of RV Site for your extended stay not be fully executed within seven (7) business days (excluding weekends and federal holidays) following our receipt of your $150 site holding deposit, or within any additional time needed between the parties to finalize the Agreement, then the site holding deposit ($150) is fully refundable to your original form of payment. Once we issue your refund, it may take an additional 7-10 days for your financial institution to make funds available in your account. Please contact us at (855) 336-8892 if you have not signed an Agreement for Use of RV Site or received a refund within that time frame. Please note that the $150 site holding deposit secures a site at your selected campground or resort, but does not secure a specific site. A manager or other employee working at that campground or resort should reach out to you after you make the $150 site holding deposit to discuss site location and the execution of an Agreement for Use of RV Site. In order to sign an Agreement for Use of RV Site allowing an extended stay at a campground or resort, you must meet residency requirements for seasonal or annual stays. If you become an annual guest pursuant to an executed Agreement for Use of RV Site, the $150 site holding deposit will then be applied to either the administrative fee (if applicable), or will be credited towards the annual site payment. Advertised rates do not include taxes and fees. Electricity is not included for stays of 30 days or longer. Usage of any seasonal or annual site may be limited to dates that the campground or resort is open. While, if you become a seasonal or annual guest pursuant to an Agreement for Use of RV Site, you may leave your RV on the site year-round, there are restrictions that limit the amount of time you may occupy your RV on the site that vary by campground and resort. Open dates and length of stay vary by campground and resort. Must be a current Thousand Trails member or purchase a Camping Pass membership in connection with seasonal or annual stays at Thousand Trails campground. Amenities vary by campground and resort. Golf Carts

• We do not rent golf carts directly. However, we recommend two local companies: Coastline and Emerald Isle Golf Carts.
• All golf carts must have a valid parking pass in order to enter the resort and park on the premises. If you bring your own golf cart, we require a copy of your certificate of liability insurance before issuing you a golf cart pass.
• Electric golf carts only are allowed on resort property.
• Golf cart drivers must have a valid driver’s license. Operating a golf cart while intoxicated is prohibited. Operators under the influence are subject to a $250 fee.
• Driving golf carts after midnight is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Pets (3 Pet Max)

• Pick up after your pet(s) on resort property and on the beach! Doggy waste bag stations are located at the front- gate, blue bathhouse, red bathhouse and both beach accesses. If you do not pick up after your pet you will incur a $135 fee.
• Your pet(s) must be on a leash no longer than 6’ at all times when outside and should NEVER be left unattended while on resort property. Unexpected electrical surges can, and do, occur and may result in tripped breakers on a campsite and/or in your RV. Please be aware of your pet’s health on extremely hot days throughout the year.
• Pets are not allowed in the Pool Area or ANY buildings on resort property.
• Use the outside showers at each beach access to wash off your pet. Washing your pets at the Red or Blue bathhouse is prohibited.
• Do not allow your pet(s) to dig a hole(s) on resort property or you may incur a $50 damage fee.

Visitors

• There is no charge for visitors staying less than 2 hours. In order to obtain a visitor pass, a credit card or license must be left in our resort office. When the pass is returned, the credit card or license will be returned. If any visitors stay over 2 hours, there is a $10 per person per day charge.
• Emerald Isle RV Resort is private property. Entrance to the resort is not allowed without official check-in at the Resort Office. If you have visitors that have not paid to enter the resort, your account will be charged $100 per person that was not registered.
• All visitors must respect and obey Emerald Isle RV Resort rules and policies. It’s your responsibility to inform any and all visitor(s) of our rules and policies.

Pool

• Pool hours vary depending on the time of year and are posted on the pool gates and on our phone app.
• Swim at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children. If your child has to use the bathroom, do not wait! If an accident happens in the pool, it will be shut down for cleaning and will ruin everyone’s fun. The pool bathhouse is unlocked during pool hours.
• Pets are not allowed in the pool area. Glass containers, smoking ,and vaping are prohibited inside the pool area.

Trash & Garbage Disposal

• Please leave your trash beside the road at your campsite for our road-side pickup. Trash will be collected daily, typically around 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. Only properly bagged trash will be picked up. Do not leave trash outside after 4:00 p.m.
• Do not leave doggy bags out for roadside garbage pickup. Dispose of these bags at the appropriate doggy bag stations.
• We are not responsible for disposing of anything other than common RV and campsite garbage. We will NOT pick up couches, mattresses, tables and chairs, grills, umbrellas, tent and canopy frames, paint cans, appliances (large or small), bicycles, etc. Dispose of these items at the county dump: Solid Waste & Recycling, Highway 58/West Fire Tower Road, Peletier, NC 28584. A $50 fine may be assessed for any prohibited items left at a campsite.
• Resort office hours are posted on the Emerald Isle RV Resort app, on Google, and beside the office door. Gate hours are posted on the Emerald Isle RV Resort app and at the entrance gates.

Campground Services & Information

• Entrance onto resort property constitutes permission for the Emerald Isle RV Resort to photograph and/or video any and all guest(s) and to use any resulting media for any lawful purpose without compensation to guest(s).
• Quiet hours are from 11pm – 7am and are enforced by our staff and local police. To report anyone not abiding by our quiet hours, please call the Resort Office at 252-354-2250 during our scheduled business hours or call the non-emergency after hours phone number as listed on the Emerald Isle RV Resort app.
• Please respect the privacy of other guests. Do not walk through or allow your pet(s) to walk through occupied campsites. Park your car(s) and/or golf cart on your campsite or in a designated area. Your account will be charged $50 for any car or golf cart parked incorrectly.
• Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children.
• The speed limit on resort property is 5mph.
• Please do not ride skateboards, bicycles, scooters, hoverboards, or one-wheels after dark.
• Underage drinking is prohibited in the resort and on the beach.
• Washing RVs, vehicles and/or boats inside the resort is prohibited.
• Fireworks & firearms are prohibited on resort property.
• Please be considerate and leave your campsite the way you found it so the next group of guests can enjoy a nice, clean site upon their arrival.
• Only one [1] unit per site, unit includes but not limited to Motorhome, Travel Trailer, 5th wheel, pop-up camper, and tent.
• A maximum of [2] vehicles are allowed per site. Some sites may only accommodate [1] vehicle. We do have a small paid overflow lot and vehicles must display a valid parking pass in the windshield. Parking at the front office is PROHIBITED and violators will be towed at owner’s expense. Do not park in the street or on neighboring sites.
• Gas hot water heaters ONLY. Electric hot water heaters are PROHIBITED.
• You may have a light-weight, breathable RV mat on your campsite. Multiple RV mats and heavy, non-breathable rugs are PROHIBITED.
• You are required to use either a Rubber Sewer Ring/Sponge or an Angled Sewer Adaptor for your sewer hookup.
• Emerald Isle RV Resort and its owners, to the best of their ability, maintain the safest environment possible. Guests assume any and all risks and dangers incidental to the activity of camping in an outdoor environment. These dangers specifically include, but are not limited to, being injured by insects or other animals, being injured by resort activities whether participating or not, or being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions. All guests agree that the Emerald Isle RV Resort and its owners, agents and/or employees are not liable for any injuries or property damages resulting from such causes.
